The Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana is a Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze Mission in the Xianzhou Luofu. The quest involves restarting three terminals in the Divination Commission by solving puzzles that involve the Abacus Jade. I found these puzzles to be a little tricky, so in this guide, I’ll be walking you through how to complete all of them in detail. Use the Table of Contents to skip to the part you’re stuck on.
All Abacus Circuitry & Mutare Magnus puzzle solutions in Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana - Honkai Star Rail
There are two puzzle types in the Omniscient Inquiry of Arcana Trailblaze Mission. Abacus Circuitry involves tinkering with the panel so that the computing modules (movable parts) are fixed onto the non-movable modules that house the same symbol. Meanwhile, Mutare Magnus puzzles involve forming shapes based on a reference.
While there are multiple ways you can approach these puzzles, I recommend following the exact steps prescribed in the walkthroughs below to ensure that you properly set each puzzle up for completion and guarantee solving them.
Follow Qingque to the Divination Commission’s side entrance
In this segment, you need to solve a Jade Abacus puzzle to unlock the Divination Commission’s side entrance. Start byclicking on the base with an S symbol, where the arrow is pointing above. This will allow you to move the computing module within the selected area.
Next,rotatecounterclockwise (A button on PC) twice or until the computing module is in the exact position illustrated above. Reference the arrow to guide you.
Then, you need toclickon the empty baseto select the area around it, changing the path of the computing module.
Lastly, you need torotateclockwise (D button on PC) once so that the computing module moves to the base with the same S symbol. The exact position is illustrated by the arrow above. This will complete the Abacus Circuitry puzzle.

Temporal Terminal - Mutare Magnus puzzle
Mutare Magnus puzzles involve changing the positions of the objects on the ground to match the layout projected in front of you. Start by picking up the piece on the bottom right of the layout, then place it in the easternmost position, as pictured above.
Next, pick up the object at the center of the hexagon, and put it on the bottom left of the layout. Doing so will form a triangle that matches the reference, completing the puzzle.
Karma Terminal - Abacus Circuitry puzzle
To solve the Abacus Circuitry puzzle, you need to start byclicking on the base with an S symbol. This will allow you to move the computing module within the selected area.
Next, rotate the computing module counterclockwise until it’s in theexact positionpresented above. Refer to where the arrow is pointing to ensure that the S module is exactly there.
Once that’s done,click on the empty base. Doing so will allow you to control both computing modules at the same time.
Rotate counterclockwiseonceso that the computing modules match with the symbols on their designated positions, pictured above. This will complete the puzzle.
Karma Terminal - Mutare Magnus puzzle
Start by picking up the object on the lower left, then move it to the bottom right of the layout. Refer to the images above to ensure you’re moving the correct piece!
Next, pick up the object on the lower right and move it to the bottom left of the layout, pictured in the two images above. Doing so will form the shape displayed in the reference, solving the puzzle.

Spatial Terminal - Abacus Circuitry puzzle
Upon starting the puzzle,click on the basewhere the arrow is pointing above to select the area surrounding it.
Next, you need torotate counterclockwisethree times, or until the computing module with the S symbol is at the bottom of the panel. Reference the image above for the exact position it should be in.
Once that’s done,click on the base on the rightto move onto the next area.
You mustrotate clockwiseonce so that the other computing module is at the top of the middle of the panel. Refer to the arrow above for its exact position.
Next,click on the middle baseto select the middle area of the panel, which will allow you to move both computing modules.
Rotate clockwiseonce so that the computing modules match up with the modules that house the same symbols. Doing so will complete the puzzle.
Spatial Terminal - Mutare Magnus puzzle
This time, the Mutare Magnus puzzle requires you to copy the shape of an hourglass. Start by picking up the object on the bottom right of the hexagon. Once that’s done, put it down on the rightmost part of the layout, pictured above.
Next, pick up the object on the upper left of the hexagon and drop it on the bottom left of the layout. Doing so will form the shape prescribed by the reference, solving the puzzle.
