Season 20, Season of Defiance, kicked off with a bigger bang in Destiny 2 than its sibling expansion, Lightfall. As the Awoken Queen Mara Sov works with the forces of the Light to not only save Earth’s citizens but push back Calus' invading army, she has opened her royal vaults to any Guardian willing to help. These beautiful crystalline weapons are available with their standard random rolls, but can also be crafted by any Guardian willing to collect five of each weapon’s pattern.

It’s a respectable lineup of weapons and even has one making use of the new Strand element. Truly, the weapons design team is only getting better and better at their craft. Each subsequent season has knocked it out of the park and Season of Defiance is no different. Not only is the theme spot on, but the feel of each weapon is exquisite.
There’s something for everyone with this lineup. We’re particularly fond of Raconteur and Royal Executioner. With a little under three months to go until Season 21,Season of the Deep, players had best get a jump on collecting these patterns!
