Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 New Maps
This season, three new destinations will be added to the roster of the 6v6 core maps. These include Punta Mar, Strike, and DRC - Zone 1. Furthermore, two new maps named Canal and Lounge will be added to the rotation for the 2v2 Gunfight mode. Now, let’s have a look at these maps individually.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 New Gunfight Maps (2v2)
Lounge and Canal will both be a fresh addition to the small-squad size game mode. you’re able to see most of the area of these maps in the images above. While Lounge is completely new, Canal looks familiar to me as it’s taken from thecity of Vondelfeatured in Warzone 2 and DMZ.
No new Al Mazrah location is being added in Season 5 for the large-scale game modes Ground War and Invasion. That said, these modes already have a good map roster that should keep players engaged. Pick your side in the upcoming Faction Showdown LTM between Task Force 141 and Shadow Company. Score points for your team in MW2 Multiplayer and unlock special rewards.
